When using the equipment, always wear sturdyshoes with a nonslip sole. This protects againstinjuries and ensures a good footing.Electrical and battery safety1. Avoid dangerous environment. Don't use theequipment in damp or wet locations or expose it torain. Water entering an equipment will increasethe risk of electric shock.2. Recharge only with the charger specified by themanufacturer. A charger that is suitable for onetype of battery pack may create a risk of fire whenused with another battery pack.3. Use power tools only with specifically designatedbattery packs. Use of any other battery packs maycreate a risk of injury and fire.4. When battery pack is not in use, keep it away fromother metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys,nails, screws or other small metal objects, thatcan make a connection from one terminal toanother. Shorting the battery terminals togethermay cause burns or a fire.5. Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejectedfrom the battery; avoid contact. If contactaccidentally occurs, flush with water. Make sure that there are no children or otherpeople within a working range of 15 meters (50 ft),also pay attention to any animals in the workingvicinity. Otherwise stop using the equipment.2. Before use always check that the equipment issafe for operation. Check the security of thecutting tool and the guard and the switchtrigger/lever for easy and proper action. Check forclean and dry handles and test the function of thestart/stop.3. Check damaged parts before further use of theequipment. A guard or other part that is damagedshould be carefully checked to determine that itwill operate properly and perform its intendedfunction.
