11PARTS DESCRIPTIONSFUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTIONCAUTION:• Always be sure that the equipment is switched off andthe battery cartridge is removed before adjusting orchecking function on the equipment.Installing or removing battery cartridge(Fig. 6)• Always switch off the equipment before insertion orremoval of the battery cartridge.• To remove the battery cartridge, withdraw it from theequipment while sliding the button on the front of thecartridge.• To insert the battery cartridge, align the tongue on thebattery cartridge with the groove in the housing and slipit into place. Always insert it all the way until it locks inplace with a little click. If you can see the red part onthe upper side of the button, it is not locked completely.Insert it fully until the red part cannot be seen. If not, itmay accidentally fall out of the equipment, causinginjury to you or someone around you.• Do not use force when inserting the battery cartridge. Ifthe cartridge does not slide in easily, it is not beinginserted correctly.Power switch actionCAUTION:• Before inserting the battery cartridge into theequipment, always check to see that the switch triggeractuates properly and returns to the “OFF” positionwhen released. (Fig. 7 & 8)To prevent the switch trigger from being accidentallypulled, a lock-off button is provided.To start the equipment, depress the lock-off button andpull the switch trigger. The tool speed is increased byincreasing pressure on the switch trigger.
