9 ENGLISHASSEMBLYCAUTION: Hold the power converter and thepower source firmly when installing or removingpower source. Failure to do may cause them to slipoff your hands and result in personal injury or damageto the power converter and the power source.CAUTION: Before operation, make sure thatthe cord is placed properly and the socket isinserted into the plug all the way.Mounting the power sourceFor PDC1200Attach the power source to the power converter asshown in the figure.CAUTION: Make sure that the power sourceis securely installed to the power converter.Otherwise it may accidentally fall out of the powerconverter and cause injury to you or someone aroundyou. If you can see the red indicator as shown in thefigure, the power source is not locked completely.► Fig.2: 1. Red indicatorWhen removing the power source, lift the power sourceup while pushing down the lock button.► Fig.3: 1. Lock buttonFor PDC01Attach the power source to the power converter asshown in the figure.► Fig.4To remove the power source, perform the installationprocedure in reverse.Connecting the power source1. Open the cap of the plug.2. Align the arrow mark on the socket with that of thepower converter, and then insert the socket into the plugall the way.► Fig.5: 1. Cap 2. Plug (input) 3. Socket 4. ArrowmarkNOTICE: Do not insert the socket forcibly. Ifthe socket cannot be inserted easily, it is not beinginserted correctly.NOTICE: When unplugging, do not hold thecords but hold the socket. Otherwise, the cordsmay be damaged and cause a malfunction.NOTICE: Always close the cap of the plug firmlywhen the power source is not plugged. Otherwiseforeign matter may enter the power converter andcause a malfunction.Cord pocketYou can put the cord into the cord pocket as shown inthe figure.► Fig.6Installing MAKPACOptional accessoryThe power converter can be attached to the top orbottom of MAKPAC as shown in the figure.► Fig.7CAUTION: Make sure that the power con-verter is securely fixed to the MAKPAC with thefour latches. Otherwise falling accident may occurand cause personal injury.OPERATION► Fig.8: 1. Power button1. Press the power button of the power source to turnit on.2. Connect your appliance to appropriate output.When using AC output, select appropriate frequency bypressing and holding the frequency switching button.NOTE: The frequency can be selectable only whenthe AC output stops.NOTE: Frequency setting is memorized. Next time,the power converter will start with the same setting.3. Press the output button you want to use.The power converter starts the output and the outputbutton at work lights up.4. Press the output button again to stop.5. Press the power button of the power source to turnit off.NOTICE: You may not be able to use an appli-ance which requires a large amount of power tostart up even if the power output of the powerconverter is kept within the rated power range.NOTICE: The power converter may not supplypower to some USB devices.NOTICE: Before connecting USB device to thepower converter, always backup your data of USBdevice.NOTICE: You cannot charge the power sourcewith the power converter using power banksavailable in the market. |
