9radius.Fig.15NOTE:• Circles between 172 mm and 186 mm in radiuscannot be cut using this guide.Align the center hole in the straight guide with the centerof the circle to be cut. Drive a nail less than 6 mm indiameter into the center hole to secure the straight guide.Pivot the tool around the nail in clockwise direction.Fig.16Trimmer guideFig.17Trimming, curved cuts in veneers for furniture and thelike can be done easily with the trimmer guide. The guideroller rides the curve and assures a fine cut.Loosen the wing bolts and secure the tool basehorizontally.Fig.18Install the trimmer guide on the tool base with the clampscrew (A). Loosen the clamp screw (B) and adjust thedistance between the bit and the trimmer guide byturning the adjusting screw (1 mm per turn). At thedesired distance, tighten the clamp screw (B) to securethe trimmer guide in place.When cutting, move the tool with the guide roller ridingthe side of the workpiece.Fig.19MAINTENANCECAUTION:• Always be sure that the tool is switched off andunplugged before attempting to perform inspectionor maintenance.• Never use gasoline, benzine, thinner, alcohol or thelike. Discoloration, deformation or cracks mayresult.Replacing carbon brushesFig.20Remove and check the carbon brushes regularly.Replace when they wear down to the limit mark. Keepthe carbon brushes clean and free to slip in the holders.Both carbon brushes should be replaced at the sametime. Use only identical carbon brushes.Use a screwdriver to remove the brush holder caps.
