The Macnaught oil dispensing gunand meter has been designed for use with engine oil,gear oil, automatic transmission fluid, anti-freeze/anti-boil and compatible fluids.Macnaught also manufacture a complete range ofratio oil pumps and retractable oil hose reels,greasing equipment and accessories, to fulfil all yourfluid handling or greasing requirements.Please read and retain this instruction manual toassist you in the operation and maintenance of thisquality product.GENERAL INFORMATIONThis manual assists you in operating and maintaining yournew oil control gun. The information contained will helpyou ensure many years of dependable performance andtrouble free operation.Please take a few moments to read through this manualbefore installing and operating your new oil control gun. Ifyou experience problems with this product, refer to thetrouble shooting sections of this manual. If you requirefurther assistance please contact your local Macnaughtdistributor or authorised Macnaught service centre.IMPORTANT INFORMATIONYour safety is important to us. Please read and followall safety instructions listed inside.Some of these instructions alert you to the potentialfor personal injury. “Cautions” listed throughout thismanual advise of potential practices or procedureswhich may cause damage to your equipment.Ensure all operators have access to adequateinstructions about safe operating and maintenanceprocedures.Do not exceed the maximum working pressure of10500 kpa / 1500 psi / 105 bar.Do not hit the oil control gun if it fails to operate. Referto “trouble shooting guide” or return the unit to yournearest authorised service centre.Never point the nozzle at yourself or anyone else.Never exceed the pressure rating of any component.installed in the System.Before every use check all hoses for signs of wear,leaks or loose fittings. Tighten all fluid connectionsregularly and replace weak or damaged hoses.Before attempting any repairs or maintenance of thisproduct firstly disconnect the air supply from the oilpump, then release the oil line pressure by squeezingthe lever on your oil control gun.ASSEMBLYUse Teflon tape (or suitable thread sealant) whenconnecting the oil control gun to an oil hose.MANUAL NOZZLE OPERATIONWith the nozzle pointing away from you turn the nozzle tipclock-wise to open.With the nozzle pointing away from you turn the nozzle tipanti-clockwise to close.HANDLE OPERATIONEnsure the manual nozzle is open before operating thehandle.To latch the handle, squeeze the lever, push the latchbutton on the rear of the gun and then release lever.To release the latch in simply squeeze and release lever.IntroductionREAD THIS INFORMATIONCAREFULLY BEFORE USE.CAUTIONIncludes m odelsHG100-01HG100-01-11HG100-02HG100B-01 |
