46Setting the video sizeThe desired video size can be selected from the Function menu. The following resolutionsare available:[ ] 720p30: recording in HD quality at 1.280 x 720 pixels and 30 frames per second[ ] VGAp30: recording in VGA quality at 640 x 480 pixels and 30 frames per second[ ] 720p30 (Painting): recording in HD quality per second with painting effect. Theoption ”Continuous AF" is automatically set to ”On“.The “720p“ video sizes can then only be selected if a SDHC memory card of class 4 or higheris used.Setting of Wind noise reductionSelect option “Wind noise“ [ ] from the Function menu to reduce wind noise duringvideo recording. Select the “On” setting.PIV functionIf the shutter release is depressed during video recording, a photo is also taken at the sameresolution of the video. Above the recording time the Photo symbol [ ] and the numberof photos then appears. Once the maximum number of possible photos has been reached,the symbol and number appear in red but the video recording continues.The function is only available in video sizes 720p30 and VGAp30.
