The package you have purchased should contain the following:Warning noticesImproper use of the Desk Magnifier may put you and others at risk, as well as cause damage tothe product. Therefore, it is important that you read the following warnings and take notice of theinstructions for use.Hazards for children and persons with limited ability to operate electronic equipment The Table Magnifier together with its accessories and packaging are not toys. Keep them out ofthe reach of children. Failure to do so could lead to electric shocks, poisoning and suffocation. The Desk Magnifier and accessories should not be used by children or persons with limitedphysical, sensory or mental abilities, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for theirsafety and they have receivedfull instructions on using the device safely. Supervise children at alltimes to ensure that they do not play with the applianceHazards of using batteries Remove the batteries from your Desk Magnifier if you will not be using it for a longer time There is a risk of explosion on improper replacement of the batteries or when using batteries ofthe wrong type. Always make sure that the batteries are installed with the correct polarity(+ and –) as shown on the battery. Use only batteries of type “CR 2016”. Never mix old and new batteries or batteries of differenttypes or manufacturers! Replace all batteries of one set at the same time. Clean battery contactsand the contacts in the device itself before installing batteries. Never subject the batteries to excessive heat, such as sunshine, fire etc. There is a risk of fire andexplosion. Keep the batteries out of the reach of children. Do not allow children to replace batteriesunsupervised! Never throw batteries on the fire, short-circuit them or take them apart. Do not weld or solder onor next to batteries. Risk of explosion. NEVER touch leaking batteries without the proper protection. Keep unused batteries in the original packaging and away from metal objects. Do not mixbatteries after removing them from the packaging.1.
