The character pad is usefulwhen you need the highest levels of accuracy, for example, when you're enteringan email address or a URL. Characters that you enter into the character pad are immediatelyconverted to text, so you can spot and fix any errors immediately. Character pad can be used to enter one letter at a time.On-Screen KeyboardThe On-screen Keyboard is always available when you start or resume yourcomputer. Simply tap the letters on the keyboard to form words. The Input Panel enters the text directly in the field or at the insertion pointof the active program. The On-screen Keyboard is especially useful for entering small amountsof text, such as passwords and file names.
