Resetting the memory keyAttention:v It is recommended that you use the Resetting feature to format your memory key with Administratorprivileges.v If you select Reset Ultra Secure Memory Key, the memory key will be reset to factory settings, and alldata stored on the memory key will be erased.To reset the memory key, do the following:1. Click Settings in the KeyLock (X:) window after entering your password.2. Select the Reset Ultra Secure Memory Key check box in the Administrative Tools window and clickApply.3. A warning window opens to confirm whether you want to erase all data on the memory key andreset to factory settings. Click OK.Note: Do not remove the memory key from your computer while resetting.4. After resetting the memory key, the Information window opens, saying that you need to remove andreinsert the memory key to make it available.Changing the passwordTo change the password of the memory key, click Settings in the KeyLock (X:) window after enteringyour password. The Administrative Tools window opens and you can change your password.Hibernating, Suspending, or Logging off the systemBe sure to save and close all files on your memory key before hibernating, suspending, or logging off theWindows operating system.
