Install the new system board into the chassis by aligning the screw holes in the new system board withthe corresponding mounting studs on the chassis. Then, install the screws in the sequence as shown tosecure the new system board.12. Connect all cables to the new system board. See “System board” on page 54.13. Reinstall the removed parts. Then, reconnect the power adapter and all disconnected cables to thecomputer.The failing system board must be returned with a microprocessor socket cover to protect the pins duringshipping and handling.Microprocessor socket cover installation procedure1.
