Try the solutions in the order they are presented. When the problem issolved, you can skip the additional solutions.Common problems and solutionsThese guidelines provide tips to deal with problems you may encounter while using the projector. If theproblem remains unsolved, contact your dealer for assistance. Often after time spent troubleshooting, theproblem is traced to something as simple as a loose connection. Check the following before proceeding tothe problem-specific solutions.v Use some other electrical device to confirm that the electrical outlet is working. Ensure that:v the projector is turned on.v all connections are securely attached.v that the attached device is turned on.v a connected PC is not in suspend mode.v a connected notebook computer is configured for an external display. This is usually done by pressinga Function key combination on the notebook.Troubleshooting tipsIn each problem-specific section, try the steps in the order suggested. This may help you to solve theproblem more quickly. Try to pinpoint the problem and avoid replacing non-defective parts.
