31Aligning the print cartridgeThe printer automatically aligns the print cartridge when it is installed orreplaced.1 Load plain paper. For more information, see “Loading paper into thepaper support” on page 15.2 Install the print cartridge. For more information, see “Installing theprint cartridge” on page 29.3 Follow the alignment instructions on the computer screen.The printer prints an alignment page to align the cartridgeautomatically.However, you may also need to align the cartridge when:• Characters are not properly formed or are not aligned at the leftmargin.• Lines that should be vertical and straight print as wavy.Aligning the print cartridge from the Lenovo SolutionCenter1 Load plain paper. See “Using the Lenovo SolutionCenter” on page 12.3 From the Maintenance tab, click Align to fix blurry edges.4 Click Print.The cartridge is aligned after the page prints.
