15INSTALLATIONINSTALLATION■■ Affix the manual control button to the wall or molding.■➤ Peel the backing from the double-sided tape on the rear of the assembly.■➤ Press the manual control button onto the mounting surface, as shown.IMPORTANT: Choose a location where the manual control button will not be obstructed by the valance or side rails, and wherethe wire will not be pinched.Connect the Power SourceNOTE: When power is connected to the motor, if your shade is a right stack, a green LED inside the manual control buttonhousing will flash to indicate the shade is ready for operation. If your shade is a left stack, a green LED then red LED will flash toindicate the shade is ready for operation.■■ Refer to the appropriate page based on your order.■➤ For battery wands, see below.■➤ For the 18V DC power supply, see page 16.If You Have Battery Wands...Two battery wands come with Kirsch® Cellular Shades Vertical Cellular Automation shades 54" wide or wider. Shades less than 54"wide will come with one battery wand only.Plug the Power Cable into the Battery WandsWith two battery wands, the power cable from the motor splits into a “Y”.■■ Plug the short end of the power cable from the motor into the socket on the firstbattery wand.■■ Place the battery wand into the front channel of the headrail.
