RestaurantRestaurant12Adjust volumeAdjust volume on both hearing instrumentsThe “+” and “-“ keys are used to adjust volume(6 and 7 on page 9). Volume may be adjustedon both hearing instruments simultaneously oron each side independently. By default, bothhearing instruments are “active” which is indi-cated in the display by two arrowheads (< and>) located next to the volume bars. Both hearing instruments cansimultaneously be made louder by pressing the “+” key or softerby pressing the “-“ key. Each adjustment is accompanied by beeptones in the hearing instruments, if not disabled by your hear-ing healthcare professional during the fitting, as well as a visualchange in the volume bars shown in the display. Default volumelevel is indicated by a horizontal green line in the volume bars.Adjust volume on the left hearing instrument onlyTo adjust volume on the left side only, first pressthe “<” key on the keypad (8 on page 9). Doingso will make the left hearing instrument “active”and the right hearing instrument “inactive.” Thiswill be indicated by a left arrowhead (<) in thedisplay, with the right arrowhead turned off anda dimmed volume bar on the right side.
