276 During CallsWhen you are on a call, you have three options as described in the follow-ing. Two of the options concern whether you want to make parts of a callpublic or personal. It is possible to turn both of these options on at the sametime. The last and third option is to enter and use the phone book, whileyou are on a call.6.1 Turning Loadspeaker On/OffTurning loadspeaker on allows other people in the room to listen to and par-ticipate in the conversation. You may set the handset on a desk or table andleave your hands free.To turn loadspeaker on/off:1 While on a call, press Loud on to turn loudspeaker on.2 To turn loudspeaker off, press Loud off.6.2 Turning Microphone Mute On/OffTurning microphone mute on will mute your voice. That is you can hear theother party but they cannot hear you.1 While on a call, press Mic Mute to turn microphone mute on.2 To turn microphone mute off, press Mic on.6.3 Entering Phone BookWhile on a call, you can access the find name function to scroll throughnames and numbers using predefined shortcuts (up/down navigation keys).For more information about entering phone book, refer to “PredefinedShortcuts” on page 20.
