Insert the detector head into the mounting base and rotateit clockwise until it clicks into place (Figure 1).2. The detector may be locked into the mounting base ifrequired. To do this, remove the locking tab beforeinstallation (Figure 2).3. After installation, ensure that the detector communicateswith the control panel. If the detector does notcommunicate with the control panel, check that duplicateaddresses have not been assigned.4. Always test detectors after installation.To remove a locked detector1. Insert a small screwdriver into the locking tab slot(Figure 3).2. Press and rotate the detector anticlockwise.AddressingEach device requires a numeric address between 1 and 125for identification purposes. This is assigned at the fire panel orusing a PG700N Device Programmer. |
