KFP-CE4 Series Operation Manual 17MaintenancePerform the following maintenance tasks to ensure that your fire alarm systemworks correctly and complies with all required European regulations.Note: Before performing any tests, ensure that fire routing is disabled or that thefire brigade has been notified.Quarterly maintenanceContact your installation or maintenance contractor to perform a quarterlyinspection of the fire alarm system.This inspection must test at least one device per zone and verify that the controlpanel responds to all fault and alarm events. The control panel power supply andbattery voltage should be checked.Annual maintenanceContact your installation or maintenance contractor to carry out an annualinspection of the fire alarm system.This inspection must test all system devices and verify that the control panelresponds to all fault and alarm events. All electrical connections must be visuallyinspected to make sure that they are securely fastened, that they have not beendamaged, and that they are appropriately protected.CleaningKeep the outside and inside of the control panel clean. Carry out periodiccleaning using a damp cloth for the outside. Do not use products containingsolvents to clean the unit. Do not clean the inside of the cabinet with liquidproducts. |
