Remove the mounting bracket from the back of thealarm by holding the mounting bracket and twistingthe alarm in the direction indicated by the“OFF”arrow on the alarm cover.2. After selecting the proper location for your Smoke/COAlarm, as described on Pages 8-10, and wiring the ACQUICK CONNECT harness as described in theWIRING INSTRUCTIONS, attach the mounting bracketto the electrical box. To ensure aesthetic alignment ofthe alarm with the hallway, or wall, the "A" line on themounting bracket must be parallel with the hallwaywhen ceiling mounted, or horizontal when wallmounted.3. Pull the AC QUICK CONNECTOR through the centerhole in the mounting bracket and secure the bracket,making sure that the mounting screws are positionedin the small ends of the keyholes before tighteningthe screws.4. Plug the AC QUICK CONNECTOR into the back ofthe alarm (see Figure 2), making sure that the lockson the connector snap into place.
