Learning the BasicsViewing the DesktopYou can view the status or current settings of the IS01 on the desktop.《Desktop》⑧⑦②④①③⑥⑤① Notification area: Displays notification indicators (→P.18)such as missed calls or incoming mail messages. Anotification message may be displayed on the right sideof the indicator. Tapping the Notification area displays thenotification panel and you can view the detailed information.② Widgets (→P.23)③ Quick Search Box (→P.47)④ Main Menu key (→P.20)⑤ Status area: Displays the status indicators (→P.18) tocheck the status or settings of the IS01. You can displaythe status panel by tapping the Status area. Select a statusindicator to view the information.⑥ Shortcuts (→P.23)⑦ Quick Menu: Moves icons for frequently used applicationsfrom the Main menu to the Quick menu. (→P.19)⑧ Running application key: Displays the running applicationslist screen to switch or exit running applications.NOTEWhen you tap the area where there is no indicator oricon on the desktop or press f, only the wallpaperis displayed on the desktop. If you want to activate orset each function while only the wallpaper is displayed,tap the screen or press f.You can switch the desktop by sliding or flicking it(→P.24) to the right and left.
