The Programmer is designed to support allSmartOne intelligent and addressable devices, including DS/KSSeries Detectors. Programming adapters are provided in kit.Note: Prior to using the Programmer, ensure that you havethe following accessories:• SLC Interface Adapter• AC Adapter (120V or 240V)• AI/AO Module Programming Adapter for newer modules• DS/KS Series Programming Adapter• 4 NiMH Rechargeable AA Batteries• Storage CaseMAIN MENU LEVEL SELECTIONSTo access Main Menu selections, press the <> and <>buttons until the LCD display shows the desired selection, thenpress <E>. There are four Main Menu selections:• Single Addressing - Set an address for a single device ata time.• Sequential Addressing - Set an address range (with astart address and end address), and give each device aunique address within that range. Program multipledevices quickly, and reduce the possibility of setting dupli-cate addresses.• Alarm Test - Test the alarm initiating responses of initiatingdevices. A device that fails the Alarm Test should not beinstalled.• Options - Adjust LCD settings; show current firmwareversion; adjust the Power-Off timer.GENERAL MENU NAVIGATIONGeneral menu navigation rules include the following keypadinstructions:1. Press the <> and <> buttons to navigate the menulevels.2.
