N5182BX07Safety and Regulatory Information1-These servicing instructions are for use by qualified personnel only. Toavoid electrical shock, do not perform any servicing unless you arequalified to do so.The opening of covers or removal of parts is like ly to expose the user todangerous voltages. Disconnect the instrument from all voltagesources before opening.No operator serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualifiedpersonnel. To prevent electrical shock, do not remove covers.Connector Care and Cleaning PrecautionsRemove the power cord to the instrume nt. To clean the connectors use alcoholin a well ventilated area. Allow all residual alcohol moisture to evaporate, andfumes to dissipate prior to energizing the instrument.Install the instrument so that the ON/OFF switch is readily identifiableand is easily reached by the operator. The ON/OFF switch is theinstrument disconnecting device. It disconnects the mains circuits fromthe mains supply before other parts of the instrument. Or, thedetachable power cord can be removed from the electrical supply.Alternatively, an externally installed switch or circuit breaker (which isreadily identifiable and is easily reached by the operator) may be usedas a disconnecting device.Keysight N5182BX07 User's Guide37
