26 Keysight PXIe Chassis Family User GuideIntroduction to the PXIe Chassis Installing PXI Modules in the ChassisTable 1 Chassis LEDsLED(color)Off On Continuously Flashing All three LEDs flashTemp LED(amber)This LED is off ifthe chassistemperatures areOK. To allow youto validate thatthis LED isworking, the LEDis turned on forthe first threeseconds after thechassis ispowered up.This LED is never oncontinuously.Indicates one or moretemperature sensors isreporting a temperature abovethe limit, either the 70°Cdefault limit or the user setlimit. The limit, if changed, isreset back to 70°C at the nextchassis power cycle. If thetemperature condition causingthe flashing to occur is nolonger present, theTemperature LED will turn off, indicating that the chassistemperatures are OK.All three LEDs on for 10seconds and off for 1second indicates thatthe Monitor Processor, which controls flashingof the LEDs, has beenunable to communicatewith the ChassisManager. Refer to thePXIe Chassis FamilyService Guide fortroubleshootinginformation. The Soft Front PanelIdentify On featureallows you to identifywhich chassis isconnected to the SFPapplication. Forexample, if you havemultiple M9019Achassis in a system withan SFP applicationrunning for eachchassis, you can easilyidentify with chassis isconnected to theapplication. When youclick the Identify Oncheck box, all threefront panel LEDs (Fan,Temp, and Power) blinkat a 7 to 10 second rate(50% duty cycle).Fan LED(green)Indicates that thechassis is turnedoff.See the KeysightPXIe ChassisFamily ServiceGuide for details.Indicates all fans areoperating above theminimum limit RPM.The default minimumlimit for the M9010A is900 RPM and for theM9018B and M9019Ais 1200 RPM. The fanspeed minimum limitcan be changed in theSFP orprogrammatically. Thelimit, if changed, isreset back to thedefault minimum limitRPM at the nextchassis power cycle.Indicates that one or more ofthe fans are operating belowthe minimum limit, either thedefault minimum limit RPM or,if changed, the user setminimum limit. If the fan speed conditioncausing the flashing to occuris no longer present, the FanLED will return to oncontinuously.Power LED(blue)Indicates that thechassis is turnedoff. If you attemptto turn thechassis on but thePower LEDremains off, thiscan indicateseveral possibleproblemsSee the KeysightPXIe ChassisFamily ServiceGuide for details.Indicates all supplyvoltages are withintheir limits. Factorydefault limits are±10% for 3.3V and±5% for the otherpower supply voltages. The limits can bechanged in the SFP orprogrammatically. Thelimits, if changed, arereset to factory defaultat the next chassispower cycle.Indicates one or more of thefour supply voltages areoutside of their limits, eitherthe factory default limits or,the user-set limits. Refer tothe Keysight PXIe ChassisFamily Service Guide fortroubleshooting suggestions.Ifthe power supply conditioncausing the flashing to occuris no longer present, thePower LED returns tocontinuously on state.
