Keysight PXIe Chassis Family User Guide 141Updating Chassis Firmware Chassis MaintenanceViewing the Chassis Revision Information Using the IVI DriversThe chassis revision string can be viewed using the IVI.NET and IVI-C drivers asfollows:IVI.NET: Use the Instrument Firmware Revision property.IVI-C: Use the KTMPXICHASSSIS_ATTR_INSTRUMENT_FIRMWARE_REVISIONattribute.Updating Chassis FirmwareTo determine if there is a later revision of chassis firmware available, perform thefollowing steps:1 Go to any of the chassis websites and click the Visit Technical Support tab.www.keysight.com/find/M9010Awww.keysight.com/find/M9018Bwww.keysight.com/find/M9019A2 Under Technical Support, click the Drivers, Firmware & Software tab. If there arechassis firmware updates available, they will be listed under this tab, and canbe viewed by clicking Firmware Update under Refine the List.3 Compare your chassis firmware revision number to the list of chassis firmwarerevision numbers that are available. If there are later revisions available,Keysight recommends installing the latest version.To install the latest chassis firmware, perform these steps:1 Click the link to the latest (or desired) firmware update and follow theinstructions provided to download and install the firmware on your chassis.2 Power cycle the chassis after the firmware installation is complete, and verifythat your host controller PC can communicate to the chassis.
