By performingthe operator’s check, the following are tested:— attenuation ranges of all installed attenuators— calibration of the receivers— frequency response of the receivers— phase lock and leveling— noisefloorandtracenoiseAccessories Used in the Operator’s CheckPerforming the Operator’s Check1. In the PNA Operator’s Check dialog box (refer to Figure 3-3), underConfigure, select either Prompt for attachment of Short/Open, to pause ateach step in the process to allow moving the short/open to theappropriate port, or Shorts/Opens are attached to ALL ports, to runthrough the test without stopping.
