The Model 3761 10-channel Low CurrentMultiplexer Card is a single-pole, single-throw, low-leakage multiplexer designed for use in the Model3706A System Switch/Multimeter. The 3761 is ideal for switching either current or voltage into apicoammeter or an electrometer voltmeter.Figure 1: Model 3761 10-channel Low Current Multiplexer CardThe 3761 has two output connectors which allow you to add additional cards. Each additional cardincreases the capacity of the multiplexer by ten channels. High-speed, low-leakage reed relays withactuation times as low as 1 ms let you use the 3761 to make accurate, low-current measurements.The 3706A supports up to six 3761 cards, for a maximum of 60 low-current channels in a singlemainframe system.An automatically-configured software relay isolates all circuitry on the card from the outputs when allchannels are open, and it closes when any channel closes. You will use this relay when configuringmultiple 3761 cards. See the Typical applications (on page 5-1) topic for more information.Section 1Introduction
