Do not let anyone touch the wheels when thewheelchair is in motion to avoid pinch injury.5.3 How to Adjust Your Wheelchair5.3.1 Swing-Away and Detach FootrestTo swing away and detach the footrests, pull the swing-away lever(See Figure 5-7), then you can swing away and/or detach thefootrests. (Figure 5-8) It can make transferring in and out of thewheelchair easier.
