Afterthe supply voltage has been connected, the “Power”LED must remain lit.2. Check the status LEDsThe status LED provides information about the unit’sstatus after it has been started up:Status LED is off – > System is starting upStatus LED is flashing steadily – > System is ready3. This is the most important part of start-up. Once thesystem has started up (Power LED is lit/Status LED isflashing), you should connect to the Powador-proLOGwith your computer to check whether all invertersare answering over the RS485 line and whether allconnected sensors are providing data.See section 7 (“Establishing a Connection”) of thismanual for information on how to connect to the Powa-dor-proLOG with your computer.6.2 Using the Powador-proLOG withPowador-web1. You do not have to configure the data logger on site.Just make sure that the inverters and sensors are properlyconnected and that the telephone/Internet connection isworking.2. The Powador-proLOG will be configured by KACO newenergy GmbH. For this purpose, you need to fill out theapplication form for Powador-web after installation iscomplete. You can download the application form fromour website.www.kaco-newenergy.de6.3 Using the Powador-proLOG withoutPowador-web1. Once you have successfully connected to the Powador-proLOG, you should configure the unit to meet yourrequirements (inverter, analogue/digital channels, alarmnotification, and data transmission).2. You can use the “Installation Wizard” to configure andcheck the measured data of the Powador-proLOG. Itwill guide you through the installation process one stepat a time.You can also use the “Profi page” to configure andcheck measured data.For more information, see section 8 (“Menu Descrip-tion”).3. Powador-monitor provides a graphical display forprocessing measured values.N OT EThe system needs about two minutes to be completelyinitialised. This process is similar to starting up (booting)a PC. Completion of the boot phase is indicated by thestatus LED. It remains off during the boot phase, andbegins flashing once the boot phase is complete.AT T E N T I O NMake sure that everything is properly connected (is thepolarity correct?) and that all inverters are addressed(RS485 address?).
