Regeneration• If hardness of water increases, it is time for regeneration.• Usually regeneration is to be done after 300-400 liters of water usage(based on the input hardness of water).Regeneration ProcessBased on the hardness of the water periodic regeneration is required foroptimal usage. To Regenerate• Before starting regeneration ensure that the salt chamber is filled with waterand has atleast 250 grams of salt dissolved.• Please repeat the process if the hardness of water is still high even afterthe first regeneration.• To start regeneration, rotate the inlet water valve and outlet water valve inanti-clockwise and clockwise direction respectively. Both should be in verticalposition (facing downwards).• Wait for 15 minutes allowing the contents to pass through from brine chamber tothe lower housing. In 4-5 minutes the brine chamber/salt tank will be empty.Thereafter for the next 10 minutes the salt will react with resin in the lower resinhousing for regeneration.• Now rotate the inlet water valve clockwise to bring it back to the original position(facing upwards) and allow water to pass for 5 minutes.• After 5 minutes, rotate the outlet valve anti-clockwise and bring it back to itsoriginal position (facing upwards).
