Waterflowing through a system separator is con-sidered non-drinkable.CautionAlways connect the system separator tothewater supply, never directly to the appli-ance!Note: Impurities in the water can damagethe high-pressure pump and accessories.For protection, the use of the KÄRCHERwater filter (optional accessory, order no.4.730-059) is recommended.Observe regulations of water supplier.For connection values, see type plate/tech-nical data. Use a fibre-reinforced water hose (notincluded) with a standard coupling.(Minimum diameter 1/2 inch (13 mm),minimum length 7.5 m). Screw the coupling element (supplied)to the water connection on the appli-ance. Push the water supply hose onto thecoupling unit, then connect it to the wa-ter supply.CautionDry runs lasting longer than two minuteslead to damages to the high pressurepump.
