This also applies to cold wa-ter operation.– Risk of damage! Never operate the ap-pliance without a filter in the water con-nection.– Risk of damage! Do not place any ob-jects (hose,etc.) on or over the chim-ney.– Device with hose drum:Always unwind high pressure hosecompletely WARNINGLong hours of using the appliance cancause circulation problems in the hands onaccount of vibrations.It is not possible to specify a generally validoperation time, since this depends on sev-eral factors:– Proneness to blood circulation deficien-cies (cold, numb fingers).– Low ambient temperature. Wear warmgloves to protect hands.– A firm grip impedes blood circulation.– Continuous operation is worse than anoperation interrupted by pauses.In case of regular, long-term operation ofthe device and in case of repeated occur-rence of the symptoms (e.g. cold, numb fin-gers) please consult a physician.Illustration Unlock the hood lock using a screwdriv-er, pivot the appliance hood forwardand unhook it.Illustration Hook in the appliance hood (see ar-rows), pivot it up and lock in the hoodlock.Illustration1 Operating with cold water2 Operating with hot water Set appliance switch to desired operat-ing mode.The device starts briefly and turns off, assoon as the working pressure is reached. Release the trigger gun.When activating the hand spray gun the de-vice switches back on.Note: If no water comes out of the highpressure nozzle, vent pump.Vent pump: With open hand spray gun turn deviceon and off multiple times with the deviceswitch.Note: By dismantling the spray lance fromthe hand spray gun, the venting process isaccelerated. Release the lever of the trigger gun; thedevice will switch off. Release again the lever of the triggergun; the device will switch on again. Close the hand spray gun. Use the safety catch to secure thehandgun lever.
