– 4 WarningObserve regulations of water supplier.According to the applicable regula-tions, the appliance must never beused on the drinking water supplywithout a system separator. Use asuitable system separator manufactured byKÄRCHER; or, as an alternative, a systemseparator as per EN 12729 Type BA. Waterflowing through a system separator is con-sidered non-drinkable.CautionAlways connect the system separator tothe water supply, never directly to the appli-ance!For connection values refer to technicalspecifications Attach supply hose (minimum length7.5 m, minimum diameter 1/2“) to thewater supply set by means of a hoseclamp. Connect the supply hose to the waterconnection point of the machine and atthe water supply point (for e.g. a tap).Note: The supply hose and the hose clampare not included in the scope of delivery. Connect suction hose (minimum diame-ter 1/2“) with filter (accessory) to thewater connection point.– Max. suck height: 0.5 m DangerNever suck in water from a drinking watercontainer. Never suck in liquids which con-tain solvents like lacquer thinner, petrol, oilor unfiltered water. The sealings within thedevice are not solvent resistant. The spraymist of solvents is highly inflammable, ex-plosive and poisonous.– For connection values, see technicaldata and type plate.– The electrical connections must bedone by an electrician according to IEC60364-1. Set the appliance switch to "0/OFF“. Plug in the main plug. DangerDanger of injury by electric shock.– Unsuitable extension cables can behazardous. Only use extension cablesoutdoors which have been approved forthis purpose and labelled with a suffi-cient cable cross section:– Always unwind extension lines com-pletely.– The plug and coupling of the extensioncable used must be watertight.CautionThe highest allowed net impedance at theelectrical connection point (refer to techni-cal data) is not to be exceeded. In case ofconfusion regarding the power impedancepresent on your connection, please contactyour utilities provider. DangerRisk of explosion!Do not spray flammable liquids.Caution– Never operate device with empty fueltank The fuel pump will otherwise bedestroyed. This also applies to cold wa-ter operation.– Risk of damage! Never operate the ap-pliance without a filter in the water con-nection.– Risk of damage!
