– 3Safety devices serve for the protection ofthe user and must not be put out of opera-tion or bypassed with respect to their func-tion.The safety valve opens when the permissi-ble operating pressure is exceeded; waterflows back to the suction side of the pump.The safety valve is set by the manufacturerand sealed. Setting only by customer ser-vice.The thermo-valve opens when the permis-sible water temperature is exceeded andlets out the hot water into the open.The thermostat valve prevents the pumpfrom over-heating. DangerRisk of injury! Device, tubes, high pressurehose and connections must be in faultlesscondition. Otherwise, the appliance mustnot be used. Check oil level of the high pressurepump at the oil sight glass.Do not operate the appliance if the oil levelhas fallen below "MIN". Add oil if required (see technical speci-fications).Follow the instructions given in the sec-tion "Safety Notes"! Read the operating instructions of theengine manufacturer before start-upand follow the safety instructions care-fully. Fill the fuel tank with unleaded petrol.Do not use 2-speed mixture. Check oil level of the engine.Do not operate the appliance if the oil levelhas fallen below "MIN". If required, top up oil carefully. Connect high pressure hose and spraypipe to the hand spray gun. Install the nozzle on the spray pipe in sucha way that the marking is on the top. Tighten covering nut firmly. Connect the high pressure hose to thehigh pressure connection point of themachine.– For connection values refer to technicalspecifications WarningObserve regulations of water supplier.According to the applicable regula-tions, the appliance must never beused on the drinking water supplywithout a system separator. Use asuitable system separator manufactured byKÄRCHER; or, as an alternative, a systemseparator as per EN 12729 Type BA.
