It cannot be used forplayback with a television of a different standard.However, live recording and LCD monitor/viewfinder playback are possible anywhere. Usethe BN-V12U/V22U/V25U battery packs and, torecharge them, the provided multi-voltage ACPower Adapter/Charger. (An appropriate conver-sion adapter may be necessary to accommodatedifferent designs of AC outlets in differentcountries.)NOTES:●The rating plate (serial number plate) and safetycaution are on the bottom and/or the back of themain unit.●The rating plate (serial number plate) of the ACPower Adapter/Charger is on its bottom.This unit is produced to comply with Standard IECPubl. 65.IMPORTANTConnection to the mains supply in the UnitedKingdom.DO NOT cut off the mains plug from thisequipment. If the plug fitted is not suitable for thepower points in your home or the cable is too shortto reach a power point, then obtain an appropriatesafety approved extension lead or consult yourdealer.BE SURE to replace the fuse only with an identicalapproved type, as originally fitted, and to replacethe fuse cover.If nonetheless the mains plug is cut off ensure toremove the fuse and dispose of the plug immedi-ately, to avoid a possible shock hazard byinadvertent connection to the mains supply.If this product is not supplied fitted with a mainsplug then follow the instructions given below:DO NOT make any connection to the LargerTerminal coded E or Green.The wires in the mains lead are coloured inaccordance with the following code:Blue to N (Neutral) or BlackBrown to L (Live) or RedIf these colours do not correspond with theterminal identifications of your plug, connect asfollows:Blue wire to terminal coded N (Neutral) orcoloured black.Brown wire to terminal coded L (Live) or colouredRed.If in doubt — consult a competent electrician.
