Refer also to theirinstruction manuals.n Ensure cables are arranged properly.• Tripping on cables (such as the AC adapter cord,connection cables, etc.) will cause the camera kitto fall, resulting in injury and damage.• Take care to ensure proper connection/arrangement of cables.n When you are not using the camera kit for a longperiod of time, disconnect the AC adapter.• As there is high voltage inside the camera kitwhen the AC adapter is connected, it isrecommended to disconnect the AC adapter forsafety.n Be sure to disconnect the AC adapter and all otherconnection cables during transport.• Carrying the camera kit with cables connectedcan damage the cables, resulting in a risk of fire orelectric shock.n Be sure to disconnect the AC adapter whencleaning the camera kit.• As there is high voltage inside the camera kitwhen the AC adapter is connected, this can resultin a risk of electric shock.SAFETY PRECAUTIONSIMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONSWhen using the colour CCD camera kit, basic precautions should always be followed including following.WARNING/ To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, read all instructions carefully before using the colour CCD camera kit.PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFETYWARNING — DANGEROUSVOLTAGE INSIDEThis unit is produced to comply with Standard IEC Publ. 65.DO read the operating instructions before you attempt touse the equipment.DO ensure that all electrical connections (including themains plug, extension leads and interconnectionsbetween pieces of equipment) are properly made andin accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.Switch off and withdraw the mains plug whenmaking or changing connections.DO consult your dealer if you are ever in doubt about theinstallation, operation or safety of your equipment.DO be careful with glass panels or doors on equipment.DON’T continue to operate the equipment if you are in anydoubt about it working normally, or if it is damagedin any way — switch off, withdraw the mains plugand consult your dealer.DON’T remove any fixed cover as this may expose dangerousvoltages.DON’T leave equipment switched on when it is unattendedunless it is specifically stated that it is designed forunattended operation or has a standby mode. Switchoff using the switch on the equipment and make surethat your family knows how to do this. Specialarrangements may need to be made for infirm orhandicapped people.DON’T use equipment such as personal stereos or radios sothat you are distracted from the requirements of roadsafety. It is illegal to watch television whilst driving.DON’T listen to headphones at high volume, as such use canpermanently damage your hearing.DON’T obstruct the ventilation of the equipment, for examplewith curtains or soft furnishings.
