The last scene remains in memoryeven if you remove the disc from the player or switchoff the player. If you load a disc that has the scenememorized, the scene is automatically recalled.Note:This player does not memorize the scene of a disc if youswitch off the player before commencing to play the disc.Screen SaverThe screen saver appears when you leave the DVDplayer in Stop mode for about five minutes.Copying from DVD To VCRThis unit allows you to copy the contents of a DVD toa VHS tape with a press of the REC (z) button.Notes:If the DVD you are attempting to copy is copyprotected, you may not be able to copy the disc.1. Insert DiscInsert the disc you wish to copy in the DVD deckand close the disc tray.2. Insert VHS TapeInsert a blank VHS videotape into the VCR deck.3. Copy the DVD to VHS TapePress the REC (z) button. The DVD will go into Play mode and the VCRwill go into Record mode. If the DVD disc menu appears, you may needto press the Play button manually to begincopying.Note:If you press the REC (z) button, be sure this unit inDVD mode.4. Stop the Copy ProcessWhen the DVD is finished playing, press x to endthe copy. You must stop the Copy process manuallywhen the DVD movie ends, or the unit mayreplay and record over and over again.Recording from another videorecorderWith this video recorder you can make recordingsfrom an external source, such as copying fromanother video recorder or a camcorder.Note:In the following description, this video recorder will beone used for recording and will be referred to as VCRB. The other appliance will be used for playback andwill be referred to as VCR A.1. VCR A should be connected to the SCART socketon the rear panel of your unit or the AV sockets onthe front panel of your unit.2. Insert the recorded tape into VCR A and a blanktape into VCR B.3. Press AUX until the socket you wish to recordfrom is displayed. (VCR B)AV 1 for recording from EURO AV1 SCART socketon the rear of your unit.AV 2 for recording from EURO AV2 SCART socketon the rear of your unit.AV 3 for recording from VIDEO IN and AUDIO IN(Left & Right) sockets on the front of your unit.4.
