Most manu-facturers of speakers andelectronics, including JBL,use red to denote the (+)terminal and black for the(–) terminal.The (+) lead of the speakerwire is noted with a stripe. Itis important to connect bothspeakers identically: (+) onthe speaker to (+) on theamplifier and (–) on thespeaker to (–) on theamplifier.
