Battery Information1. CAUTION: Do not dispose of batteries in a fire, the battery mayexplode.2. CAUTION: Do not open or damage the battery or batteries, asreleased electrolyte is harmful to the skin and eyes.3. A battery can present a risk of electric shock and high short circuitcurrent. The following precaution should be observed when workingon batteries: Remove watches, rings or other metal objects. Usetools with insulated handles.4. NOTE. The batteries used in your Hypertec UPS are maintenancefree. This means that you DO NOT need to check the battery fluidlevels. Trying to do so may cause injury to yourself, or may cause afault with the battery / UPS.5. The battery backup runtime is affected by the state of charge of thebatteries, the age of the batteries and general condition of thebatteries.6
