2. Remove the bolt and the nut from the batterybracket and remove the battery bracket from thebattery.3. Use 2 wrenches to disconnect the black batterycable from the negative (–) terminal on thebattery.4. Use 2 wrenches to disconnect the red batterycable from the positive (+) terminal on thebattery.5. Carefully remove the battery from the product.6. Install in the opposite sequence.To adjust the tracking speedIf the product does not move straight forward, thetracking speed must be adjusted.WARNING: Always adjust thetracking speed in an open area withoutbystanders.1. Do a check of the tire pressure. Refer toTirepressure on page 18.2. Turn the tracking controls out until they are flushwith the nuts. Refer toProduct overview on page3 for the location of the tracking controls.3. Start the product.4. Move the control levers forward fully and operatethe product at full throttle.5. Turn the tracking control on the right sidegradually until the product starts to move right.6. Turn the tracking control on the left sidegradually until the product starts to move straightforward.Tire pressureMake sure to have the correct tire pressure on all 4tires. Refer toTechnical data on page 26.To remove and install the frontwheels1. Remove the nut and the bolt to remove the frontwheels from the forks.2. Install in the opposite sequence. Torque the nutand bolt to 50 ft-lbs / 67.8 Nm.To adjust the anti-scalp rollersThe anti-scalp rollers keep the cutting deck in thecorrect position on the ground and prevent lawnscalping in most terrain conditions. The anti-scalprollers can be set in 3 positions for different lengthsof grass:• Top position: 1.5–2.5 in. / 38–64 mm grass.• Middle position: 2.5–4 in. / 64–102 mm grass.• Bottom position: 4–5 in. / 102–127 mm grass.1. Park the product on level ground and stop theengine.2. Remove the nut, the bolt, the axle and the anti-scalp roller.3. Install the anti-scalp roller in one of the 3positions.CAUTION: The cutting deckcan become damaged if the anti-scalp rollers are incorrectly adjusted.The anti-scalp rollers must beapproximately 1/4 in. / 6.4 mm fromthe ground.18 1550 - 002 - 08.12.2022
