Make sure the tires are inflated tothe correct pressure. See Technical Data /Transmission. If tires are under or over inflated, the deck cannot be correctly adjusted. Raise thedeck to the highest (transport) position. The deck must be adjusted slightly higher in therear.NOTE: To insure the precision of the levelingprocedure, the mower deck drive belt must beinstalled before leveling the deck.1. Wear heavy gloves. Turn each blade tip toalign front to rear with the deck side-to-side.2. Measure from the floor surface up to thebottom of the blade tip on the discharge sideof the mower deck. Record the measurement.3. Move to the opposite side, check thatmeasurement is the same. If adjustment isrequired—with a 3/4" or adjustable wrench, turn the lift link adjustment nuts on either sidecounter clockwise to lower or clockwise toraise. Adjust until the two measurements arethe same.4. Turn either blade to align with the deckfront-to-rear. If the front blade tip does notmeasure 3,175 mm to 12,7 mm lower thanthe rear, remove the foot plate to access thefront deck adjustment.
