5. If the product has power steering, hold the leftsteering trigger (D) to turn left. Hold the right steeringtrigger to turn right.DTo stop the product1. Move the ON/OFF switch to the OFF position (ifequipped).2. Remove the ON/OFF key.To use the throttle control• Turn the throttle control (A) to change the amount offuel used. Always operate the engine at full throttle.CHOKE CONTROLTRUCTIONSATo use the fuel switch• Turn the fuel switch to open or close the fuel valve.Operate the product with the fuel switch in the OPENposition.OFFONFUELCONTROLINSTRUCTIONSTo use the choke control• Turn the choke (A) to open or close the choke valve.Use the choke to start a cold engine.CHOKE CONTROLTRUCTIONSATo adjust the skid platesNo adjustment is required for normal installation.1. When the lock nut (B) is loose or the skid plate (A) isnot high enough from the ground, unlock the lock nut(B) with a 13 mm open-ended wrench, to move theskid plate up or down.2. On flat surfaces, like asphalt roads, raise the skidplates (A) 5-6 mm (0.2-0.25 in) off the ground. Onuneven surfaces, like gravel roads, make theclearance between the ground and the productlarger with the skid plates to get the scraper barabove the top of the gravel. Make sure that thegravel and stones do not enter into the product. Itcan cause personal injuries if objects are ejected athigh speed.3. Tighten the lock nut (B).BATo prevent freeze-up after useNote: Controls and moving parts can be blocked by ice.Do not apply much force to the controls. If you cannotoperate a control or a part, start the engine and let itoperate for some minutes.1.
