CONTROLSThe hood is fitted with a control panel withaspiration speed selection control and alight switch to control cooking area lights.Use the high suction speed in casesof concentrated kitchen vapours. It isrecommended that the cooker hood suctionis switched on for 5 minutes prior to cookingand to leave in operation during cookingand for another 15 minutes approximatelyafter terminating cooking.The control switches are located on theunit’s front panel: 1 Speed ON/OFF buttonControl panel on/off key2 Suction speed (power) key 1:3 Suction speed (power) key 2:4 Suction speed (power) key 3:5 Suction speed (power) key 4:Note: suction speed (power) key 4 hasa limited duration of 5 minutes, afterwhich the previous suction speed isreactivated.6 "Breeze" function key(Room ventilation)The hood switches on at low suctionspeed (power) for 60 minutes, afterwhich it switches off.7 Filter saturation control andactivation/deactivation key8 Hob2Hood function indicator9 Lights ON/OFF keyCarbon filter saturation control activation/deactivation functionWith the hood in standby, press key 5 forlonger than 3 secondsKey 7 will flash to indicate that the carbonsaturation filter has been activated.Key 7 will remain lit to indicate thatthe carbon saturation filter has beendeactivated.Filter saturation control and resetfunctionAt regular intervals and depending onthe hood temperature, key 7 lightsup to indicate that the filters need tobe maintained in accordance with theinstructions in the relative paragraphs.Key 7 on with a fixed light: maintenance isrequired on the grease filtersKey 7 on and flashing: maintenance isrequired on the carbon filter.Filter saturation indicator resetWith the hood in standby, press key 7 forlonger than 3 seconds.Repeat the operation if necessary.5.1 Hob2HoodThe hood is equipped with a function forwireless connection with the cooktop forautomatic adjustment of the most suitablespeed. Refer to the instruction manual ofthe cooktop to verify the presence andcompatibility of this function.In the case of first connection to the mainsor abrupt disconnection from power supply(blackout), wait 1 minute to allow the hoodto restore the connection with the cooktop.When the hood is working in Hob2Hoodmode, key 8 is lit. |
