Thisproduct can cause serious injury or death to theoperator or others. Before you use the product, youmust read and understand the contents of thisoperator’s manual.• Save all warnings and instructions.• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.• The operator and the employer of the operator mustknow and prevent the risks during operation of theproduct.• Do not let a person operate the product unless theyread and understand the contents of the operator'smanual.• Do not operate the product unless you receivetraining before use. Make sure that all operatorsreceive training.• Do not let a child operate the product.• Only let approved persons operate the product.• The operator is responsible for accidents that occurto other persons or their property.• Do not use the product if you are tired, ill, or underthe influence of alcohol, drugs or medicine.• Always be careful and use your common sense.• This product produces an electromagnetic fieldduring operation. This field can under somecircumstances interfere with active or passivemedical implants. To decrease the risk of seriousinjury or death, we recommend persons with medicalimplants to speak to their physician and the medicalimplant manufacturer before operating this product.• Keep the product clean. Make sure that you canclearly read signs and decals.• Do not use the product if it is defective.• Do not do modifications to this product.• Do not operate the product if it is possible that otherpersons have done modifications to the product.Safety instructions for operationWARNING: Read the warning instructionsthat follow before you use the product.• Use personal protective equipment. Refer toPersonal protective equipment on page 6.• Overexposure to vibration can cause circulatorydamage or nerve damage to persons with decreasedblood circulation. Get medical aid if you havesymptoms of overexposure to vibration. Thesesymptoms include numbness, loss of feeling,tingling, pricking, pain, loss of strength, changes inskin color or condition. These symptoms usuallyshow in the fingers, hands or wrists.• Before you go away from the product, stop theengine and make sure that there is no risk ofaccidental start.• Only start the product with the brush strip attached.The brush strip must seal tightly to the surface,especially during dry surface operations.• Make sure that the brush strip is clean and notdamaged. Replace a damaged brush strip.• When dry grinding, connect the product to a dustextractor for removal of the dust.• Keep the dust extractor on until the engine stopsfully.• Make sure that the grinding head does not touch thesurface when you start the product.• Make sure that only approved persons are in thework area.• Do not use the product in areas where fire orexplosions can occur.• Always disassemble the diamond tool after eachoperation.• When you remove diamond tools, let the productbecome cool and use protective gloves. Diamondtools are very hot after use.• Make sure that the product is assembled correctly.• To lift the product, always use the lifting eye of theproduct.• Only operate the product from behind with your 2hands on the handle.• Only operate the product on horizontal surfaces.• Be very careful when you move the product up anddown ramps.
