b) If the oil level is high (C), do not fill with moreengine oil. The oil level must be between (A) and(B).7. Tighten the oil tank cap correctly before you start theengine.Note: The product has a system that tells you when theoil level is to low. If the buzzer sounds, stop the productand add oil.To replace engine oilIf the engine is cold, start the engine for 1–2 minutesbefore you drain the engine oil. This makes the engineoil warm and easier to drain.WARNING: Engine oil is very hot directlyafter the engine stops. Let the enginebecome cool before you drain the engine oil.If you spill engine oil on your skin, clean withsoap and water.1. Put the product on level ground.2. Put a container below the oil drain plug.3. Remove the oil tank cap, the oil drain plug and thewasher.Note: Discard the washer.4. Tilt the product and let the oil run out into thecontainer.5. Put the engine in level position and fill the oil tankwith recommended oil. Refer toTo do a check of theoil level on page 13 andTechnical data on page 17.6. Install a new washer, the oil drain plug and tightenthe oil tank cap.To examine the air filterCAUTION: Do not use a product without anair filter or with a damaged air filter.1. Remove the wing nut from the air filter cover, andremove the air filter cover.2. Remove the air filter.3. Remove the foam filter from the paper filter.4. Examine the foam filter and the paper filter.5. Replace damaged filters.6. Replace the air filter as scheduled. Refer toMaintenance schedule on page 13.7.
