MAINTENANCE12 – EnglishStand maintenanceThe lifetime of your machine can be extendedconsiderably if it is used, cared for and maintained in theproper manner.Cleaning and lubrication• It is important that the drill stand is kept clean forfunctionality to be maintained.• Clean the stand using a high pressure washer andthen wipe dry.• Lubricate the moving parts on the stand. Apply greaseto counteract corrosion on the contact surfaces.Adjusting the guide wheelsIn order for the carriage to run stably and straight, the fourguide wheels must rest against the rail and not have toomuch play.The surfaces of the carriage guide wheels must be incontact with the V-shaped grooves in the drill column. Ifthere is play between the column and the feed housing,the play must be adjusted.• Loosen the two hexagon screws. Also loosen the twostop screws which locks the two exentiric guidewheels.• Turn the shafts gently until the guide wheels restagains the rail.• Hold the shafts in position and tighten the two stopscrews.! WARNING! Inspection and/ormaintenance should be carried out withthe motor switched off and the plugdisconnected.! IMPORTANT! Remove the drill motor.To order go to Discount-Equipment.com
