InstallationProcedures for drill stand installationThere are 2 procedures that can be used to attach thedrill stand before a drill operation:• With an expander bolt.• With an all thread rod, a washer and a locknut.WARNING: Do not install the product with avacuum plate. There is a risk that theproduct becomes loose during operation.To install the product with an expander boltWARNING: To install the product to a ceilingor a wall puts much strain on the surface.For operation in ceilings and walls, use onlyan expander bolt or anchor screw that isapplicable for the strain.1. Drill a hole for the expander bolt at a distance (A) of400 mm/15.7 in. from the center of the hole that youwill drill.ANote: The distance is for drill motor DM650 without aspacer.2. Attach the bottom plate with an expander bolt.3. Make sure that the expander bolt is tightenedcorrectly.4. If it is necessary, adjust the bottom plate. Turn theadjustment screws until the bottom plate is parallel tothe surface.To attach the expander bolt1. Drill a hole for the expander bolt. Make sure that thedepth is sufficient.
