Contact your doctor if youexperience symptoms of overexposure to vibration.Such symptoms include numbness, loss of feeling,tingling, pricking, pain, loss of strength, changes inskin colour or condition. These symptoms normallyappear in the fingers, hands or wrists. Thesesymptoms may be increased in cold temperatures.• Cutting, especially when DRY cutting, generatesdust that comes from the material being cut, whichfrequently contains silica. Silica is a basiccomponent of sand, quartz, brick clay, granite andnumerous other minerals and rocks. Exposure toexcessive amount of such dust can cause:• Respiratory disease (affecting your ability tobreath), including chronic bronchitis, silicosis andpulmonary fibrosis from exposure to silica. Thesediseases may be fatal.• Skin irritation and rash.• Cancer according to NTP* and IARC* */ NationalToxicology Program, International Agency forResearch on Cancer• Take precautionary steps:• Avoid inhalation of and skin contact with dust,mist and fumes.• Wear and ensure that all bystanders wearappropriate respiratory protection such as dustmasks designed to filter out microscopicparticles. (See OSHA 29 CFR Part 1910.1200)• Wet cut when feasible, to minimize dust.WARNING: Do not allow the supply cord tocome in contact with rotating brushes.Note: Operator´s manual should always be available atthe place of work. It should be read and used by anyperson installing or using the product. The obligatorytechnical regulations in force in the country where theproduct is used must also be adhered to for maximumsafety.Safety instructions for assemblyThe original drums from manufacturers’ should be used.Do not use any other drum whose shape, size andmounting do not fit the product.Check that the parts are properly fixed (no abnormalvibration) and that it is correctly assembled.No modification, transformation or addition that isdetrimental to safety and that it is carried out withoutprior authorization from the manufacturer should bedone.Safety instructions for operationWARNING: This section describes basicsafety directions for using the product.
