This product must bedeposited at an appropriaterecycling facility.Do not leave or store the batteryoutdoors in the rain or in wet conditions.Battery safetyThis section describes the battery andbattery charger safety for your battery product.(1) to (8) refer to the figure on page 2.Only use Husqvarna original batteries for Husqvarnaproducts and only charge them in an original batterycharger from Husqvarna. The batteries are softwareencrypted.BatteryThe rechargeable Husqvarna batteries, BLi, areexclusively used as a power supply for the relevantHusqvarna cordless appliances. To avoid injury, thebattery must not be used as a power source for otherdevices. (1)• Do not dismantle, open or shred batteries.• Do not expose batteries to heat or fire. Avoid storagein direct sunlight.• Do not short-circuit a battery. Do not store batterieshaphazardly in a box or drawer where they may short-circuit each other or be short-circuited by other metalobjects.• Do not remove a battery from its original packaginguntil required for use.• Do not subject batteries to mechanical shock.• In the event of cell leaking, do not allow the liquid tocome in contact with the skin or eyes. If contact hasbeen made, wash the affected area with copiousamounts of water and seek medical advice.• Do not use any charger other than that specificallyprovided for use with the equipment.• Observe the plus (+) and minus (-) marks battery andequipment and ensure correct use.• Do not use any battery which is not designed for usewith the equipment.• Do not mix battery of different manufacture, capacity,size or type within a device.• Keep batteries out of the reach of children.• Always purchase the correct battery for theequipment.• Keep battery clean and dry.• Wipe the battery terminals with a clean dry cloth ifthey become dirty.• Batteries need to be charged before use. Always usethe correct charger and refer to manufacturer’sinstruction or equipment manual for proper charginginstructions.• Do not leave a battery on prolonged charge when notin use.• After extended periods of storage, it may benecessary to charge and discharge the batteriesseveral times to obtain maximum performance.• Batteries give their best performance when they areoperated at normal room temperature (20 ° C ± 5 ° C).• Retain the original product literature for futurereference.• Use only battery in the application for which it wasintended.• When possible, remove the battery from theequipment when not in use.OperationThe display shows the battery capacity and if there areany problems with the battery. The battery capacity isdisplayed for 5 seconds after the machine is switched offor the battery indicator button is pressed. (8) The warningsymbol on the battery is lit when an error has occurred.See fault codes. (6)Li-ionLED lights BatteryAll LEDs are lit Fully charged (75-100%).LED 1, LED 2, LED 3 arelit.The battery is 50%-75%charged.LED 1, LED 2 are lit. The battery is 25%-50%charged.LED 1 is lit. The battery is 0%-25%charged.LED 1 flashes The battery is empty.Charge the battery. |
