2 IntroductionSerial number:Product number:PIN code:The serial number and the product number are on the product rating plate and on the product carton.• Register your product on www.husqvarna.com. Enter the serial number of the product, the product number andthe date of purchase to register your product.2.1 SupportFor support about the product, speak to your Husqvarnaservicing dealer.2.2 System descriptionThe system contains a robotic lawn mower, a chargingstation and a reference station. The robotic lawn mowerand reference station uses the technology with satellitesignals to position the robotic lawn mower correctly,this means that boundary wires are not necessary. Thereference station is stationary and sends correction datato the robotic lawn mower to get an accurate positionof the robotic lawn mower. The virtual work area for theproduct is made in the Automower® Connect app. Theproduct is operated and waypoints are added to make amap in the app. Refer toSystem overview on page 7.2.3 Product descriptionNote: Husqvarna regularly updates the appearanceand function of the products. Refer toSupport on page6.The product is a robotic lawn mower. The product hasa battery power source and cuts grass automatically. Itcontinuously alternates between mowing and charging.The movement pattern of the product can be set torandom or systematic. The virtual boundary specifiesthe work area where the product is allowed to operate.The satellite receiver in the product senses when itis approaching the virtual boundary. When the producthits an obstacle or approaches the virtual boundary theproduct selects a new direction.The operator selects the operation settings in theAutomower® Connect app. The app shows the selectedand possible operation settings, and the operation modeof the product.2.3.1 Mowing techniqueThe frequent cutting technique improves the grassquality and decreases the use of fertilizers. Collectionof grass is not necessary.2.3.2 Find the charging stationThe product operates until the battery state of chargeis low or until the work area is cut, then the productstarts to go to the charging station. The product usesEPOS guidance with satellite signals to find a path to thecharging station. This decreases the wear on the lawnand the time to find the charging station.2.3.3 ConnectivityAutomower® Connect is an app that you can use toinstall the product and to select the operation settingsof the product.
