Dismantling motor unit and power cable 77.Dismantling motor unit and power cable17PreparationsFirst, dismantle control panel and motorcover according to previous chapter.SEPARATE MOTOR UNIT FROMGEAR HOUSE1. Remove the fasteners, one in eachcorner:PE. Power cable to earth (yellow/green)– is secured with a cable lug (next toan engraved earth symbol)• Allen wrench: 3mm2. Press out the pinion• normally, gear house and motorunit can be pulled apart by hand– optionally, insert a slotted screwdriver between bearing seat andpinion and gently pry3. Separate motor unit from gear houseELECTRIC CABLEConnection to circuit board4. Remove the female cable lugs from thecircuit board:– use long nose pliersL. blackM. brownN. grey– the illustration shows circuit boarddismantled from motor unit – seechapter 8, ”Electronics & electric diagram”Attachment to gear house5. Remove the power cable's strain relieffasteners– Allen wrench: 3mm6.
