13CONTROLSBlade SwitchTo engage the mower deck, pull the knob out;mower blades are disengaged when the knob ispressed down.Service MeterThe service meter displays the total operatingtime with the blade activated.At 50 hour intervals of operation, an oil canicon shows and stays on for two hours beforean automatic reset occurs. To manually resetthe meter, turn the key off and on five times atone second intervals. To service the engine andmower, see the Service Journal of this manual.Choke controlThe choke control is used for cold starts toprovide the engine with a richer fuel mixture.For cold starts the control should be pulled up.Ignition SwitchThe ignition switch is placed on the control paneland is used to start and stop the engine. Onmodels equipped with headlights, turn the keyclockwise to ACCESSORY for headlight use.FuseThe 20 amp primary fuse is located on the lefthand side of the machine. It is accessed by tiltingthe seat forward. The fuse is a flat pin type usedin automobiles.Cutting Height LeverTo set the deck cutting height, pull the cuttingheight lever inwards and move it to the desiredheight notch.IMPORTANT INFORMATION Always raise thedeck to the highest position for transport.IMPORTANT INFORMATION To obtain aneven cutting height, it is important that the airpressure in all tires is 15 psi / 103 kPa / 1 bar.
